A fascinating micro-oxidized sencha from a single grower, producer, and cultivar. Hokumei is a sturdy cultivar, well suited to the cooler weather of Saitama Prefecture. This medium steamed sencha undergoes intentional withering prior to processing. The leaves are exposed to UV light, creating a unique floral undertone. It is then deep steamed, which creates an incredibly fresh sencha with intense aromatics.
